DeKalb School District Health Services provides a broad range of services.  School nurses are the leaders who bridge health care and education, provide care coordination, advocate for quality student-centered care, and collaborate to design systems that allow individuals and communities to develop their full potential. Healthy students are better learners, and academic achievement bears a lifetime of benefits for health. The health office provides general health care services and counseling, including but not limited to emergency first aid, health assessment, medication management, vision and hearing screening, health record compliance, blood pressure monitoring, concussion monitoring, elevator keys, and PE medical excuses.
